Lamp FAQs

1. How do I turn off the beeping sound?

Press and hold the 10-second button for three seconds. Repeat to turn the sound back on.
2. What should I use to clean my lamp?

Switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning solution such as a diluted IPA alcohol solution. Keep the interior free from dust and gel residue, and never immerse the lamp in water.

The removable base tray can be wiped with an alcohol solution or soaked in warm water to loosen cured product and peeled off. 

Avoid cleaning the lamp, particularly the bulb area, with acetone. While the unit is resistant to a small amount of contact with acetone in every day salon life, it is not intended to be cleaned with acetone as this will eventually degrade the lamp and its performance.
3. Is the lamp acetone resistant?

The lamp is acetone resistant to help protect it from accidental splashes and everyday salon exposure. However, acetone and other corrosive liquids should not be used to clean it. Use a suitable non-abrasive cleaning solution instead.
4. Can I use the lamp while it’s charging?

Yes, the lamp can be used while charging, so you can continue working without interruption.
5. How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Battery life varies depending on how frequently the lamp is used and the curing modes selected.
6. How long does the lamp take to fully charge?

A full charge takes approximately two hours.
7. How do I check the battery level?

The lamp has four small illuminated dots that indicate the remaining charge. Four dots mean the battery is fully charged, while one dot indicates low charge. When no dots are illuminated, the battery is depleted and needs charging.
8. What does the 99-second Low Heat Mode do?

Designed for greater comfort when curing structural gels, this mode gradually increases the light intensity throughout the 99-second cycle. Always follow the curing instructions for the specific TWENTY product you’re using. We recommend using the 99 second mode when curing any structural or thick viscosity gel.
9. How does the automatic hand sensor work?

The infrared sensor automatically activates the light when a hand is placed inside the lamp. Removing the hand stops curing.
10. Why does the timer sometimes count up instead of down?

When activated by the automatic sensor, the display counts up from zero, up to 99 seconds. When a timer button is pressed, it counts down from the selected curing time.
11. Can I use the lamp for pedicures?

Yes. The removable magnetic metal base makes it easy to switch between manicure and pedicure services.
12. Why isn’t my lamp switching on or detecting my client’s hand?

Check that the power switch is turned on and the battery has sufficient charge. A low battery can affect operation, so connect the supplied power adaptor if needed. Ensure the sensor area is free from dust and gel residue. If the issue continues, contact hello@twentypro.co.uk.
